Both plans include a Korean number with a personal extension and 10 minutes of incoming calls per day. Your first day is free on bookings of 4 or more consecutive days. Qualifying totals are (booked days − 1) × the daily price; bookings of 1–3 days are charged for every day. Confirm your travel dates and final total before ordering.

A Korean phone number for your trip

Stay reachable for local reservation calls and travel arrangements without giving your Singapore number to one-off contacts. Your Korean number has a personal extension for your trip dates; it is not an exclusive mobile number.

How incoming calls work

1. Share your number and extension. The caller dials your assigned +82 number, then enters your extension. Add the extension to booking notes where possible. Some booking forms do not support extensions; check with the venue.

2. Receive an SMS alert. An alert sent to your registered Singapore number includes the caller’s number and a link. Your Singapore line must be able to receive SMS abroad. Confirm roaming requirements with your telco and test the setup before travelling.

3. Tap the link to answer. Answer over Wi-Fi or mobile data with no app installation. Your Singapore number is not shown to the caller. Normal call charges may apply to callers under their phone plans.

Both plans include 10 incoming-call minutes per day. Ask about allowance reset, overage and rollover rules before ordering. The Korean number cannot make outgoing calls or send or receive SMS and verification codes. It is not an emergency-calling service. Your extension is released after the trip and may later be reassigned; do not use it for long-term accounts.

Naver Map, KakaoMap and Google Maps in Korea

Google Maps is useful for finding places and public transport in Korea. For walking and driving directions, use Naver Map or KakaoMap; Google Maps features in Korea are evolving, so check availability before your trip. Both Naver Map and KakaoMap support English. Detailed maps, live bus times and place photos use mobile data, so keep an eye on your daily allowance.

The PowerData2Go Korea eSIM uses a local Korean connection to keep you connected to these apps while travelling. Loading speeds depend on coverage, network conditions and your device.

Data for the moments between destinations

City exploring

Check your route to a cafe, look up a booking or message your travel companions while exploring Seoul or Busan. Confirm coverage for your itinerary before ordering.

Food and shopping

Use translation tools, browse menus and save places you want to visit. Download useful offline information before heading out.

An itinerary that changes

Look up transport information, contact your accommodation through messaging apps, or share updated plans with family and friends.

These are example uses of your daily allowance, not a guarantee of coverage, app availability or a fixed number of hours of use.

Choose your Korea eSIM with clear expectations

  • Daily allowance: choose 1 GB or 2 GB per day; these are not unlimited-data plans.
  • Service day and reset: confirm when validity starts, when each day’s allowance resets and which time zone applies.
  • After the allowance: ask whether data stops or slows and whether additional data is available.
  • Network and speed: ask which network supports your plan and what coverage and technologies are available. Speeds vary with device and local conditions.
  • Korean number: both plans include a Korean (+82) number with a personal extension and 10 incoming-call minutes per day. The number is for incoming calls, not outgoing calls, SMS or verification codes. Confirm hotspot support if you need it.

Confirm the call-allowance reset time, what happens after 10 minutes and whether unused minutes carry over. The personal extension is temporary and may be reassigned after your trip; do not use it for long-term accounts.

Check your phone before ordering

  • Check that your exact phone model and regional version support eSIM.
  • Check that your phone can use the selected network and is not restricted to another provider.
  • If you want to keep your Singapore number active, check that your device supports the necessary dual-SIM setup.
  • Use a reliable internet connection for setup. Follow the supplied instructions and confirm the activation trigger so validity does not start earlier than intended.

  • Our team confirms the price, service period, network details, delivery method, SMS call-alert setup and applicable order conditions.
  • Complete the agreed payment process and receive your eSIM setup details and Korean number with a personal extension.
  • Install and activate as instructed. Select the travel eSIM for mobile data and enable its data roaming if the instructions require it. Check the settings on your Singapore line to avoid unwanted roaming use.

Korea eSIM or Singapore telco roaming?

Compare the total cost, allowance, validity and features for your actual trip. PowerData2Go’s Korea plans start at S$1.20 per day for 1 GB or S$1.50 per day for 2 GB, with the first day free on 4+ consecutive days. If you’re comparing with Singtel, StarHub or M1 roaming, check the current rates and conditions for your exact Singapore plan.

A compatible dual-SIM phone may let you use the travel eSIM for data while keeping your Singapore line available. Your home provider’s charges and roaming requirements still apply to that line.
